| This cemetery is mentioned in the book, "A
History of the City of Newark, New Jersey", embracing Practically
Two and a Half Centuries 1666-1913, published by the Lewis Historical
Publishing Co. New York and Chicago, in 1913:
"The German Evangelical Lutheran Church, 60 Mulberry Street,
south of East Park,.........Behind the
church is the old burying ground, in which there are still a few
stones."
